Site surveys

1Infotech's cabling process begins with the site survey. Site surveys help us determine the scope of work that the customer would like to have addressed, the conditions in the building that we will be working on, and provide us with the information needed to make an accurate quote.

1Infotech conducts site surveys for:

  • Complete installation of new networks

  • Additions to existing networks

  • Refreshes of existing networks

  • Removal of cabling

  • WiFi upgrades

Cabling testing and troubleshooting

1Infotech uses state-of-the-art industry-standard Fluke network testing to test every cable that it installs and provide information to clients about the work that was completed.

We also leverage the same testing technology to troubleshoot issues in our client's network cabling and make recommendations to correct problems.

Demarc extensions

Internet service providers run their cabling into a facility to a demarcation point (demarc) and then to their modem or fiber optic equipment. Many businesses find that they need to relocate their internet equipment to a more convenient locations, this requires a demarc extension.

1Infotech can extend:

  • Coaxial demarcs of the kind used by Comcast Business and others

  • Fiber optic demarcs used by AT&T Fiber, FirstCom and others

  • Category cable based demarcs

Cable removal and network clean up

Old cable can be a significant problem for businesses as the space above ceiling becomes filled with a tangle of cable or a server room becomes filled with a large amount hard to manage cable. Additionally, office tenants may be asked to remove cabling before moving out of an office space. 1Infotech can identify essential cables and remove all others or take a messy network installation and organize it to make it easier to service.

The 1Infotech difference

1Infotech works differently from other data cabling companies. We guarantee your satisfaction in our professional services and work with our clients to make sure their businesses work at maximum efficiency.
